The National Cooperative Highway Research Program is sponsoring development of a Guide for Public Transportation Pandemic Planning and Response, with small and rural transit agencies as the primary target audience. The project team is conducting a survey of transit agencies, state DOTs, emergency managers and public health officers to identify and distill best practices for this target audience. The survey is also intended to identify potential candidates for follow-on interviews.
