Hawks, the show is here at last! Today, Friday the 2nd of November and tomorrow, Saturday the 3rd of November are your only chances to see the heart wrenching Greek tragedy, Medea brought to you by Volcano Vista Taking Flight Productions. Tickets will be sold in the theatre lobby and are just $6 dollars for students and staff, $10 for adults such as parents and $3 for thespians and children. Curtain up at 7pm sharp so don't be late! Buy a ticket and come to enjoy this heavily anticipated production.
Coach Perry Hampel of the Hawks bowling team is excited to have four teams in action for the first high school bowling tournament of the season on Saturday. He particularly wants to advise the morning teams that they must be at the Isleta bowling alley at 8:00 a.m. - I repeat at the lanes no later than 8:00 a.m. Today and Tuesday are the last practices for any new members to join the bowling team. Anyone from fall sports wanting to join after their season is over - must be at one of these practices to complete paperwork. Good luck to our teams on Saturday - - ROLL HAWKS."
Today is the last day to nominate a name for the gym snack bar. The winner receives 25 days of free lunches. Turn your nominations into the activities office.
Chess club meeting is today at lunch, November 2, E-211 at 11:15 sharp.
Staff and students, Spanish Club has an altar on display at the National Hispanic Cultural Center for the Dia de los Muertos exhibit and celebration. Go check it out to take part in this cultural experience and support your Spanish Club. The exhibit will be on display until November 9.
Our band will be performing at the Tournament of Bands this weekend in Las Cruces. Good Luck Hawks.

ATHLETICS:
- Boys & Girls Basketball Tryouts are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, November 5th and 6th from 6 – 8pm in the gym. A complete physical is required in order to tryout.
- See Coach Brown in A117 for more information about Boys basketball and see Coach Villareal in F202 for more info about girls basketball.
- Cross Country runs their district meet this weekend at 9am at the Cibola Site down by the Bosque.
- Girls Soccer plays at 6:00 at the complex tonight against Las Cruces. (They won 3-0 and play Thursday)
