The bowling team sent 3 teams to Artesia this past Saturday to compete in the regular weekly tournament. All three teams participated in the Novice Division.  After the completion of the first squad of 5 teams Volcano Vista stood first , second and third; but had to wait till the 12 teams bowled the 2nd and 3rd squad.  After all the bowling was completed team #2 had finished in 7th place, team #1 was in 5th place and team #3 was a terrific 2nd place finish.  Coach Perry was once more pleased with the effort from all the bowlers who travelled all the way to Artesia and congradulates Chris Arana, Miea Jones, William Kleyboecker, Ashlyn Monroe, and Dontae Ruiz for their second place finish. Coach Perry also wants to remind everyone on the bowling team that this week is the last two practices for most bowlers and urges everyone to be at Friday's practice for the Singles Championships and hopes all bowlers will participate in the regular season final tournament on Saturday.
