Re: [californiadisasters] burning truck in Big Bear is confirmed to be Dorner's

He's had the training... Which makes him more capable, but they'll catch him.  The only question will be if he's still sucking air or not.

There's some talk he could have had a remote device that went off in the truck.   If that's the case, he could be long gone from Big Bear.   Playing games with the authorities...

update from the sheriff department of san bernardino

Deputies are also positioned on Hwy 18 in Lucerne Valley, Hwy 330 in Highland and Hwy 18 in Yucaipa monitoring traffic that is travelling up and down the mountain. Additional personnel from throughout the Sheriff's Department have been deployed to the mountain communities. Sheriff John McMahon stated he will continue vigilant patrol of the area until the suspect is located or it is determined he is no longer in the Big Bear Valley.

This *asshole* (sorry moderation team and everyone else) needs to be caught and either brought to justice or shot to up in a firefight. His actions are unbecoming of a naval officer and a police officer. I wonder how he got into the navy and became a naval officer. I'm sure the Navy is investigating that right now and cooperating with law enforcement and that NCIS is helping as well. I have friends that are LEO's and State Park Rangers. We can't have a lunatic running around free to fulfill a self manifesto.

officers found multiple tracks and officers are following each one . some are on trail heads near bear mtn 2N06 t 2N09 heading back to 2N10 back
side of bear mtn ski resort .  they also feel they could be walking into an ambush of some kind. more teams on the ground as some tracks lead no where.

They should assume he has a scanner and be communicating on channels he is not likely to know or on scrambled frequencies. Better yet, if it's legal, they should be giving misleading details on th unscrambled main channels in the hopes he is monitoring and gets deceived in a costly (to him) way.
