[Geology2] Mammoth Lakes Earthquake Swarm

My Tweet just now:

#MammothLakes #EarthquakeSwarm #MammothLakesEarthquakeSwarm 388 EQ's M0.1 - M3.9 from 10:44 a.m. on 9/22/14 to 10:00 p.m. on 9/25/14.

It is important to remember this sort of thing is quite normal for that area.
The quiescence of recent years has perhaps been more odd than this activity now.
However, it is nonetheless interesting to observe realizing this is a supervolcano slumbering.
It is also true these are not tornillos or some other type magmatic quake but merely tectonic quakes associated with local faults.
