A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS--
TO THE MOJAVE DESERT SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THESE WINDS
WILL COMBINE WITH LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND HIGH FIRE DANGER TO
CREATE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.

...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAS VEGAS HAS ISSUED A FIRE
WEATHER WATCH FOR MUCH OF SAN BERNARDINO AND MOHAVE COUNTIES FOR
STRONG WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM
SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.
A PACIFIC LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING STRONG WEST TO SOUTHWEST
WINDS TO THE MOJAVE DESERT SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. RELATIVE
HUMIDITIES BELOW 15 PERCENT ARE ALSO EXPECTED. THERE ARE MORE FINE
FUELS THAN NORMAL IN THE LOWER DESERTS DUE TO THE WET WINTER...AND
THESE FINE FUELS HAVE CURED...THUS FIRE DANGER IS ALSO HIGH. THESE
THREE FACTORS WILL COMBINE TO CREATE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
A FIRE WEATHER WATCH MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
ARE POSSIBLE. LISTEN FOR LATER FORECASTS AND POSSIBLE RED FLAG
WARNINGS.
