Seniors please remember that you have the Honors assembly rehearsal meeting on Thursday morning at 8 am. You may pick up your cap and gown following the rehearsal. Please take care of all fines prior to rehearsal.
"ALL THESPIANS, which includes those inducted last week: there is a meeting at lunch today in the theatre. We are holding elections for next year's officers- please be there! Try to arrive within the first ten minutes of the lunch period. After that we will be locking the doors and you will not be able to enter."
The AP English Language and Composition exam is scheduled for Wednesday and World History is scheduled for Thursday of this week. It is a good idea to bring a lunch from home. Rosters will be posted outside E216 so you can double check your room assignment.
SHOW CHOIR AUDITIONS!
Volcano Vista Vocal Velocity Show Choir will be holding auditions next week, Monday - Thursday! Auditions will consist of a 2 minute solo of your choice, 16 bar choreography that will be taught to you, and Ms. Clark will check your vocal range. Interested students should come by G-115 at lunch to pick up an information packet and sign up for audition times.
CONCERT CHOIR AUDITIONS
If you are interested in being in the advanced concert choir, or have signed up for this course, please stop by G-115 anytime this week at lunch to sign up for an audition time. All audtitions will be held during lunch next week in G-115 and will take 2 - 3 minutes.
Singers do not need to prepare a solo,but should come ready to sing! See Ms. Clark for more information.
FCA will be handing out Senior Letter Awards this week at our Thursday Meeting at lunch in F 104. Please join us in celebrating our Seniors last High School huddle meeting.

Our last FCA session of the year will be next Thursday May 20th. We will hand out underclassmen letter awards and elect new leadership for the 2010-2011 school year.

Student's summer school registration has begun. If you are in need of credit recovery, please see your counselor for registration packets.
Overdue and fine notices went out during second period yesterday. Over 400 students have overdue books...some from August and September! Let's get everything turned in and paid for so you won't have an extra hour or two at registration next fall.
Seniors if you have received any scholarships please stop by your academy office and fill out the scholarship form so that we may add it to the program for the Honors Assembly. Please have everything turned in by Thursday.
Seniors remember all library books, textbooks, fines, lab fees and CNM textbooks MUST be turned in before receiving your cap and gown. You may return any textbooks you are not using ASAP.

Athletics:
Congratulations to Senior LaRue Dailleboust, and Junior Cassie Hampson who just completed competition in the 4-A State Golf Tournament in Las Cruces. The two girls finished in the top ten this year in a field of 54 girls. Great Job Girls!!!
A reminder to all girl's varsity tennis players: Our awards banquet is Thursday at 4:30 at Itz. Please bring about $15 for the buffet and games.
There will baseball tryouts for anyone interested in playing summer "B" Legion this Monday & Tuesday at 2:45.
