[Volcano_Vista_HS] Albuquerque BioPark Summer Volunteer Program for Teens



The City  of Albuquerque BioPark is actively recruiting teens for their summer volunteer program.  Interested students should attend a volunteer orientation session on Saturday, May 22, 11:00 a.m., at the BioPark (Zoo).  Volunteers needed for positions listed below.  To see a complete job description for each job, go to http://www.cabq.gov/biopark.gov.

Conservation Camp Counselor.   Assist teachers during summer camp classes.  Minimum age is 16.  Training will be held Thursday, June 3, time and location  to be determined.  Commitment:  Volunteer two successive weeks between June 7 and July 30, either morning or afternoon.

 

Touchpooler.  Minimum age is 16.   Training will be held Friday, June 4, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Aquarium.  Commitment:  Volunteer a minimum of 24 hours between June 7 and July 30. 

 

Nature Guide.  Minimum age is 14.  Training will be held June 1 at the Zoo, and June 2 at the Aquarium (must attend both days), 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Commitment:  Volunteer a minimum of 24 hours between June 7 and July 30.
