Ok I am confused...Pisgah crater erupted but the authorities covered it up and these two girls were photographing some kind of desert maneuvers or dust devils while sipping root beer off highway route 66 in an expensive gas station. Have I got that right? Allison

There is great rockhounding all around there in all directions not to mention Pisgah Crater is nearby as is Lavic Lake (dry) and the Hector Mines both of which were namesakes for the M7.1 Hector Mines/Lavic Lake Quake of October,1999. There is also Calico Ghost Town and Mines nearby as well as the Calico Early Man site as well as Amboy Crater not to mention Route 66 runs right by there... lots of cool stuff to do and see around there. Oh, and remember Pisgah Crater violently erupted last year but the authorities didn't want you to know about.... NOT!

At Kim's request, here is my dream house; it's in Newberry Springs, CA. If I had several mil, my happy arse would be sitting right here:

Thought I'd share the perfect place for anyone who loves volcanoes. Why not live on one? :-)
