Cal OES Fire & Rescue Mutual Aid Resources Assigned to the Rim Fire
by Lori Newquist on August 23, 2013
As the Rim Fire near Groveland in Tuolumne County continues to grow it has no doubt stretched firefighting resources to the limit. The conflagration is just 2 percent contained, and a force of firefighters, supported by aerial tankers are struggling to stop the blaze. Cal OES has assigned additional resources thru the California Fire and Rescue Mutual Aid system to the Rim Fire. The additional Strike Teams assigned and listed below are currently in route to the Rim's Fire and expected to arrive at the incident by tomorrow.
