HOMECOMING:
•There will be a meeting in the Lecture Hall at lunch today for all Homecoming Court members.
•SENIORS & JUNIORS: Powderpuff Football and Cheerleading permission slips are due today. The first meeting will be at lunch on Monday September 30 in the lecture hall.
•Any senior interested in signing up to be the Master of Ceremonies for Homecoming stop by the Activities Office on Monday during lunch to fill out an application. Tryouts are on September 26 during lunch in G173. You must be eligible to participate.
•Any student interested in trying out for the Talent portion of the Coronation Assembly stop by the Activities Office during lunch on Monday to signup. . Tryouts are on September 26 during lunch in G173. You must be eligible to participate.
Today is a Black-out Day. If you need to buy a t-shirt they are $5.00 in the Activities Office. We have S, M, L and XL available now.
Best Buds will not meet today. Meetings will resume next Friday, September 27.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY: From Sept 23 to Sept 27 we will be working in the A Hall Snack Bar at lunch. If you signed up to work, don't forget to report! Be sure to be there when the bell rings at 11:05. T-Shirt designs are due to Mrs. Jones in E203 by Friday, Sept 27th. We will vote on T-Shirt designs at our next meeting, on Monday, Sept 30, at lunch.
Spanish Club will meet today after school to create banners for the club. Please come to room A207 right away to get started. Spanish Club meets regularly on Tuesdays at lunch in room A207 and everyone is welcome to attend.
Attention MESA members. If you have signed up for Air Force Research Lab competition, you must see Mrs. Bitner Monday at lunch to provide needed information for the project kickoff on Tuesday September 24th at Kirtland Air Force Base.
UNDERCLASSMEN PICTURES ARE HERE. If you had your pictures taken there is a packet available for you. Please stop by the activities office at lunch to pick them up.
BOWLING: The first information meeting will be held during lunch today, in Room E209.
COUNSELING:
- Juniors: Sign-up to take the PSAT thru Sept. 26. The cost is $14. The test will be given on October 16 from 7:30 to 11 in the Lecture Hall. This is your one chance to qualify for National
Merit. See Mrs. Sandy in E216 to sign-up.
- Seniors: SBA and End of Course Exam Retakes begin Monday, September 23rd. Retake lists will be posted on Friday. Please check these lists to see if your name is on it. The lists will include tests needed to retake and room locations.
