[californiadisasters] On This Date In California Weather History (May 15)



1995: Spring snowfall of 5" at both Lodgepole and Grant Grove (Sequoia-Kings Canyon N.P.).

1987: The monsoon made a very early visit.
Thunderstorms arrived in the mountains and deserts. 0.2" fell in Mt. Laguna (San Diego Co.).

1984: 4" of snow fell at Truckee.

1970: Santa Cruz had a high of 98° F.

1970:
Record highs for May were established at Lompoc 98° F and Pismo Beach with 100° F.
