I-15 is closed from 3.5 miles south of the junction of SR76 to 0.7 miles north of the junction of SR76 (San Diego County) at 1527 hours on 5/14/2014 due to wildfire – motorists are advised to use an alternate route.

Moderate Rate of Spread

95°, 6% RH, 3 mph, North gusts of 5mph

DeLuz housing area threatened.

Miguelito Fire CA-SBC-005573, Vegetation Fire, Santa Barbara County

600 acres, 50% contained

Transition to CALFIRE IMT4 will be at 1000.

CalFire in Unified Command with Santa Barbara Co. Fire, Lompoc City Fire Dept., Santa Barbara County Sheriff, Lompoc City Police Dept.

Bernardo Fire CA-MVU-10055, Vegetation Fire, San Diego County

1584 acres, 25% contained

CalFire is in Unified Command with San Diego City Fire Dept. and Rancho Santa Fe Fire District

Threat to 230KV power lines and the communities of Rancho Santa Fe, Fairbanks Ranch, San Diego, Santaluz, Del Mar, Solano Beach, and Black Mountain Ranch.

All evacuations lifted and repopulation has occurred.
