CA-SKU Boles Fire: 300 acres, 0% contained. Rapid rates of spread within the community of Weed. Over 100 structures damaged or destroyed. Interstate 5 was closed for several hours, but has re-opened to both north and south bound traffic. The fire has crossed Highway 97. Highway 97 is closed. Evacuations in effect.

CA-AEU King Fire: 8,600 acres, 5% contained. Fire made significant runs towards the northwest under a strong southerly wind flow. Threat to the White Meadows, Spring Valley, Camino and Pollock Pines communities remains. Evacuations for the eastside of Forebay Road and for White Meadows Road remains in effect.

CA-KNF Happy Camp Complex: 112,643 acres, 55% contained. Southern portion of the fire continues to be active. Today's fire behavior was backing into the wind with short surface runs.

National Weather Service - Medford has issed a Red Flag Warning until 2100 hours this evening for a combination of strong winds and low relative humidity for weather zone 281. CA-SKU Boles Fire: 200 acres, 0% contained. Fire continues to spot ahead of the main fire. Multiple structures involved. Evacuation orders for the communities of Carrick and Lake Shastina.

CA-SKU Boles Fire: 40 acres, 0% contained. Burning in brush at a rapid rate of spread and spotting ahead of main fire. One structure involved, multiple structures threatened. Fire is located on Boles Street, in Weed. 89 degrees, 13% RH, winds south at 26 mph, with gusts to 39 mph.

CA-AEU King Fire: 3,900 acres, 10% contained. Critical rates of spread with long range spotting. Significant threat to the White Meadows, Spring Valley, Camino and Pollock Pines communities. Mandatory evacuation orders are in place. Unified Command with Eldorado National Forest and CALFIRE. CA IMT1 Team 5 (Giachino) as been assigned and will in brief at 1200 hours today.

CA-KNF July Complex: 48,964 acres, 78% contained. Southwest and south flanks of the Man Fire continue to be active with fire growth towards the Hooligan Lake area.

CA-KNF Happy Camp Complex: 112,643 acres, 55% contained. Southern portion of the fire remained active with surface fire, group tree torching and crown runs with long range spotting under the influence of strong southwest ridge top winds. The other portions of the fire are in mop up, patrol and fire suppression repair status. CA IMT1 Team 4 (Opliger) assumed command at 1800 hours last evening.

CA-MEU Black Fire: 417 acres, 50% contained. Fire behavior moderated allowing for significant gains in perimeter control. Road closures have been lifted and repopulation of evacuated areas has occurred.
