Strong storm winds caused power outages.
On this day 9.43" of precipitation fell in Big Bear Lake, the greatest daily precipitation amount on record.
Incredibly, only 0.07" fell in Victorville on this day.

The Tule and Kern Rivers reached peak flows twice as great as the highest level ever measured up to this point.
