[californiadisasters] On This Date In California Weather History (June 23)



2000: Two funnel clouds were observed around Hesperia.

1994: First of 9 consecutive days with a high of 120° F or better at Laughlin, NV.

1954: Grapes in the Fresno area suffered "serious" damage from a 3 day heat wave that lasted from the 21st through 23rd.
Highs of 106° F, 108° F, and 107° F were recorded respectively.

1912: Redwood City received 1" of rainfall.
