Scientists can only forecast, NOT predict. Nobody knows what will really happen aside from recognizing longer-term patterns and correlations which give us probabilities.

Well that sucks for N. CA...and for the drought.  Snow up here is vital to getting our water resources out of the hole...here's hoping they're wrong and we get doused but good. Well...SNOWED but good.  Dousing is nice but builds no reserves.
