CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BAND DIRECTOR, Mr. Blakey for being chosen as a director who makes a difference. He is representing Volcano Vista and the state of New Mexico as the best in the state by the School Band and Orchestra Publication. Also congrats to our band for a great concert last night.
If you enjoy music be sure to go to our CHOIR'S WINTER CONCERT tonight in the PAC at 7. They will also be performing tomorrow night at 7.
BEST BUDDIES will be meeting today in H115 during lunch. Come by for the last meeting of the semester!
SENIORS be sure to order you cap & gown by December 19th. The price will increase after the 19th. You may pick up order forms in the activities office.
ATHLETICS:
DANCE & CHEER : We will be hosting the APS Metro Dance and Cheer Championship this weekend in the Ring of Fire. Come out and support our teams. We receive points for crowd participation. The Talons perform tonight and our cheerleaders perform tomorrow.
GIRLS BASKETBALL plays at Highland on tomorrow at 7
BOYS BASKETBALL plays tonight at Manzano at 7.
SWIMMING has a meet tomorrow at West Mesa Pool at 9.
Next week is CLOSED WEEK. All events must be completed by 6pm, this includes all practices, rehearsals and meetings.
