CLUB PICTURES: Club pictures will be taken on February 15, 16, and 17 during lunch, before school or during scheduled class times. Schedules will be given to your sponsors and posted in the hallways.
Have you heard of Make-A-Wish? Make-A-Wish grants wishes to children who are terminally ill and VVHS DECA along with Flying Star are trying to raise money for Make-A-Wish. If you visit Flying Star on Corrales Rd tomorrow between 4 and 6, 10% of what you spend will help grant a child a wish. We hope to see you there!
It's that time of year again! Time for THE VOLCANO VIEW NEWSPAPER to sell Valentine's Day dedications for that special someone. Dedications are 50 cents for 1 printed dedication and $1 for 3. Stop by during lunch anytime this week in E116 to order yours! Dedications will be published in the Valentine's Day issue of the school paper on February 14, 2017. Be sure to know what your special person's 2nd period so that we know who to deliver it to.
DANCE: the first annual Holly Hawkins dance will be on Saturday February 4. Tickets will go on sale January 30th for $15.00 or bring a new pair of socks (must have the sales tags on them) and the tickets will be $10.00 each. If you are bringing a guest you can find the permission slip in the activities office or online at the VVHS website. Tickets will go on sale next Monday, January 30th.
COUNSELING:
Attention Student Athletes: Thinking about playing sports in college? Parents and students are invited to NCAA information night presented by the UNM Compliance office. NCAA Eligibility night will be held on Tuesday January 24th at 6:00 PM in the PAC.
New Mexico Military institute will be on campus January 25th at lunch in lower E-Hall. Come by for admissions information.

JV CHEERLEADERS Congratulations to our JV cheerleaders! They finished their competition season with 2 first place wins and 1second place win.
SOFTBALL tryouts will be Jan 30-31st. A current physical and grade check needed to try out. Be at the fields at 2:50 after school for tryouts. For any questions see Officer Lujan
