07/03/2018 1800 CA-LNU Pawnee Fire: 15,000 acres grass, brush, 85% contained. Threat remains to the Double Eagle area. Suppression repair is underway.
07/03/2018 1800 CA-LNU County Fire: 72,500 acres grass, oak woodland, 15% contained. Evacuations remain in place for Canyon Creek campgrounds. Continued threat to Snow Mountain National Monument. Highway 128 remains closed between Monticello Dam and Pleasant Valley Rd.

National Weather Service - Medford has issued a Fire weather watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening in Modoc County for strong gusty wind with low humidity for fire weather zone 285. Link

National Weather Service - Medford has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect from 2PM to 8 PM Wednesday in Central Siskiyou County for strong gusty wind with low humidity for fire weather zone 281. Also a Fire weather watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening in Central Siskiyou County for strong gusty wind with low humidity for fire weather zone 281. Link

07/03/2018 0715 CA-LNU Pawnee Fire: 14,900 acres grass, brush, 80% contained. Mandatory evacuations remain for Double Eagle Ranch and areas north of Hwy 20.
07/03/2018 0715 CA-LNU County Fire: 70,000 acres grass, oak woodland, 5% contained. Evacuations remain in place for Golden Bear Estates and Canyon Creek campgrounds. Highway 128 remains closed between Monticello Dam and Pleasant Valley Rd.

07/03/2018 0715 CA-KNF Petersburg Fire: 215 acres timber, brush, 25% contained. Forward spread has been stopped. The evacuation warning remains for Glacier View and Lakeview Ranch. The reduction in acreage is due to better mapping.
07/02/2018 1845 CA-KNF Petersburg Fire: 219 acres timber, brush, 25% contained. Forward spread has been stopped. There is an evacuation warning for Glacier View and Lakeview Ranch. All other evacuation warnings have been lifted.

07/02/2018 1845 CA-LNU County Fire: 60,000 acres grass, oak woodland, 5% contained. Short range spotting observed. There is an evacuation order for Golden Bear Estates. Road closures include Hwy 128 between Pleasant Valley Rd and Monticello Dam Rd.

07/02/2018 0730 CA-LNU Pawnee Fire: 14,700 acres grass, brush, 75% contained. Mandatory evacuations remain in effect for Double Eagle Ranch. Hwy 20 remains closed in both directions from Hwy 16 to Hwy 53.

07/02/2018 0730 CA-SHU Flat Fire: 300 acres timber, 60% contained. Minimal fire behavior.
07/01/2018 1930 CA-KNF Petersburg Fire: 150 acres, timber and grass, 0% contained.The Fire has a moderate rate of spread with a continued structure threat. Evacuations are currently in progress for the areas of Glacier View Ranch to Lakeview Ranch then to Big Flat Campground. Forest Service structures have been destroyed.
07/01/2018 1930 CA-LNU County Fire: 32,500 acres grass and brush 2% contained. Extreme fire behavior with long range spotting observed. There is an immediate threat to the community of Golden Bear, Snow Mountain National Monument, and critical infastructure.Evacuations are in progress for areas North of Highway 128, South of County Road 23, East of Berryessa Knoxville Rd., and West of County Rd 89. Evacuation advisory is in effect for areas North of Quail Canyon Road, South of Highway 128, East of Blue Ridge Mountains, and west of Pleasant Valley Rd.
07/01/2018 1930 CA-SHU Flat Fire: 300 acres timber, 50% contained. The threat to structures and other values at risk have been minimized. Difficult access due to steep terrain.
07/01/2018 1930 CA-LNU Pawnee Fire: 14,500 acres grass and brush, 73% contained. An immediate threat exists to the community of Double Eagle and major fiber optic lines serving Ukiah and Cortina as well as associated powerline infastructure. Mandatory evacuations are currently in progress for the community of Double Eagle and areas North of Highway 20. An evacuation advisory has been issued for areas South of Highway 20. Highway 20 is closed at Highway 16 and 53. An evacuation center has been established at the Lower Lake High School.

07/01/2018 1730 CA-KNF Petersburg Fire: 100 acres timber and grass, 0% contained.The Fire has a moderate rate of spread and has crossed Rush Creek. Forest Service structures have been destroyed with a continued structure threat.

Location of the incident is 3 MI SW of Cecilville off the Caribou Creek Rd. .The Fire has a moderate rate of spread and is moving East toward Rush Creek Drainage. Forest Service structures have been destroyed with a continued structure threat. Map

CA-LNU County Fire: 22,000 acres grass and brush 0% contained. Extreme fire behavior with long range spotting observed. There is a structure threat for numerous communities, with a mandatory evacuation order is in effect for the Golden Bear Estates. The fire has burned onto the Berryessa Snow Mountain Monument Area. 07/01/2017 1055 National Weather Service - Sacramento and San Fransisco has extended the Red Flag Warnings for much of the Sacramento Valley and surroundint foot hills through 1500 today. Areas can expect gusty winds and low humidity.
07/01/2018 0745 CA-SHU Flat Fire: 300 acres timber, 40% contained. Structures, private /public timberlands and critical salmon habitat are threatened. Difficult access due to steep terrain.
07/01/2018 0745 CA-KNF Cherry Fire: 63 acres grass, brush, timber, 95% contained.
07/01/2018 0745 CA-LNU County Fire: 16,500 acres grass and brush 0% contained. Dangerous rate of spread and long range spotting observed. Structures are threatened with mandatory evacuation orders in effect west of Hwy 16, between County Rd 63-78.
07/01/2018 0745 CA-LNU Pawnee Fire: 14,100 acres grass and brush, 73% contained. An immediate threat exists to the community of Double Eagle and major fiber optic lines serving Ukiah and Cortina as well as associated powerline infastructure. Evacuations are currently in progress for the community of Double Eagle. There is an evacuation advisory for the areas South of Highway 20.
