07/05/2018 1915 CA-SKU Klamathon Fire: 1000 acres grass, brush 0% contained. Multiple structures have been destroyed. Mandatory evacuations for the communities of Hornbrook, Hilt, and Colstin. Critical infastructure is threatened, including The Pacific Power and Light Substation and the California AG Inspection Station. I-5 is closed in both directions from the Oregon border to the City of Yreka. CAL FIRE IMT-4 (DERUM) has been ordered.
07/05/2018 1915 CA-KNF Petersburg Fire: 215 acres timber, grass, 75% contained. Red Flag Warning in adjacent weather zone.
07/05/2018 1915 CA-LNU County Fire: 88,000 acres grass, oak woodland, 33% contained. Mandatory evacuations for Knoxville Mine Are, Canyon Creek Resort, Portions of Guinda, Rumsey and Cache Creek Campground. Evacuation advisory for Homestake Mining Company and area south of Lake Berryessa, north of Quail Canyon Rd, south of Hwy 128, east of the Blue Ridge Mtn, west of Pleasants Valley Rd. State Highway 128 has been reopened between Markley Cove Resort and Pleasants Valley Rd. A road closure remains in effect for Highway 16.

National Weather Service- Medford Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 8 PM this evening for strong gusty winds with low RH for fire Weather Zone 281 (Central Siskiyou County) and Zone 624 (KLamath Basin). In addition, The National Weather Service- Medford has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the previous zones, that is a effect July 6, from 12PM until 6 PM for strong gusty winds with low RH values.Link

National Weather Service-Reno Red Flag Warning remains in effect until 9 PM this evening for gusty winds and low RH for fire weather zones 270 and 278 (Surprise Valley-Eastern Lassen County)Link

07/05/2018 1715 CA-SKU Klamathon Fire: 500 acres grass, brush 0% contained. Mandatory evacuations to the town of Hornbrook. There is a threat to the community of Henley. I-5 is closed in both directions from the Oregon border to the City of Yreka.
07/05/2018 1450 CA-SKU Klamathon Fire: 50 acres, grass, brush, 0% contained with a moderate rate of spread. The fire has jumped the Klamath River and is threatening the community of Hornbrook and additonal structures North of the Klamath River. Evacuations are in progress.
07/05/2018 1400 CA-SKU Klamathon Fire: 35 acres, grass, brush, 0% contained. Fire is located at Klamathon Rd x Copco Rd, south of Hornbrook. Fire is burning at a moderate rate of spread, with structures threatened. Evacuations are in progress in the Klamathon Road area. Map

In addition NWS the Fire Weather Watch has been upgraded to a Red Flag Warning from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM this evening for strong gusty winds with low RH for Modoc County. Link

07/04/2018 1830 CA-LNU County Fire: 86,000 acres grass, oak woodland, 27% contained. Immediate threat for Canyon Creek Resort, Portion of Guinda, Rumsey, Cached Creek Campground and the Knoxville Mine Area. Threat also remains to the Highland Area, Positas Road community, Golden Bear Estates, Brooks, Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, Portion of Guinda, Homestake Mining Company,Communities immediately South of Lake Berryessa, Snow Mountain National Monument, agriculture rangelands, Canyon Creek Campgrounds and Highway 128.. Road closure remains in effect for Highway 128 between Pleasant Valley Rd. and Monticello Dam..

07/04/2018 1445 CA-BTU Par Fire: 150 acres grass, 25%. The forward rate of spead has been stopped, with the threat to the Thermalito Power Plant and structures mitigated.
07/04/2018 1430 CA-LNU Stony Fire: 100 acres grass, 0% contained. The forward rate of spread has been stopped, and the structure threat has been mitigated.
07/04/2018 1405 CA-BTU Par Fire: 100 acres grass, 0% contained with a dangerous rate of spread. The fire is located at Par Four way x Hwy 162, 3 miles west of the City of Oroville. Structures are currently threatened as well as the Thermalito Power Plant. Map
07/04/2018 1405 CA-LNU Stony Fire: 50 acres grass, 0% contained with a moderate rate of spread. The fire is located at Lodoga Stonyford Rd x Lake Park, 14 miles west of Maxwell. Structures are currently threatened.    Map
07/04/2018 0715 CA-KNF Petersburg Fire: 215 acres timber, brush, 30% contained. All evacuation warnings have been lifted and threat to structures has been mitigated.
07/04/2018 0715 CA-LNU County Fire: 82,700 acres grass, oak woodland, 25% contained. Evacuations remain in place for Canyon Creek campgrounds. Continued threat to Snow Mountain National Monument. Highway 128 remains closed between Monticello Dam and Pleasant Valley Rd.

07/04/2018 0715 CA-SHU Flat Fire: 300 acres timber, 80% contained. Crews continue to strengthen control lines.
