Has anyone ever pondered the large amount of sulfur contained in Florida's well water for a non volcanic region?
My grandfather and early builder on the Florida west coast would construct 500 gallon tanks out of cinder block with a roof and screen so that well water could be sprayed into the air for degassing SO2

Mt Tongariro, which erupted last week, is sending whiffs of sulphur into the air and it's heading south.
