[californiadisasters] Admin Read: We're Code 33 Now & Less is More

Achtung Gruppe!

Quite clearly fire season has finally arrived in California as has the annual Summer monsoonal season.

As a result the traffic level on CALIFORNIA DISASTERS has skyrocketed as one would expect.

This group is now officially in a CODE 33 status until further notice.

That means the main group here is restricted to emergency traffic only.

Discussions about survival kit supplies and other such non-eminent danger topics should be moved over to our sister discussion list.

Just a reminder to our highly valued regular contributors:

This group is now officially over 1,500 members and we constantly weed out the dead wood of members who are no longer actually with us or are bouncing and do not respond to repeated efforts to reactivate their memberships.

Although not all our members receive individual emails for each post to the group many of them do.

Therefore, each and every post to this group goes out to many hundreds of people.

Consequently, it is important that each posting be carry as much info value as possible.

PLEASE post the great info we saw here today while I was gone but also please COLLATE and CONSOLIDATE all this great info into fewer but more newsy postings.

Also, please keep chit-chatty responses to other members comments either over on the discussion list or via a private email message so that hundreds of other people are not receiving something that has ZERO relevance and interest to them.
