THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE... * UNTIL 700 PM PDT * AT 351 PM PDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED FLASH FLOODING FROM A THUNDERSTORM NEAR MEYERS... OR NEAR SOUTH LAKE TAHOE...MOVING WEST AT 5 MPH. * OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO ANGORA BURN AREA HEAVY RAINFALL WITH RATES UP TO 1 INCH PER HALF HOUR AND LARGE HAIL UP TO AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM.

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS... RIVERS... OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS AND HIKERS SHOULD AVOID STREAMS OR CREEKS. FLASH FLOODING AND DEBRIS FLOWS IN AND BELOW RECENTLY BURNED AREAS CAN QUICKLY DESTROY ROADS...BRIDGES...CULVERTS...AND STRUCTURES. PEOPLE LIVING IN THESE AREAS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DEBRIS FLOWS CAN RESULT IN INJURY OR DEATH.
