Re: [Geology2] NOAA Natural Disasters Map (Interactive)



Let's see, at 2,800 feet in the southern Sierras, I guess I don't have to worry about tsunamis or hurricanes.  But there's been a tornado 3 miles away, and in '83 a flash flood destroyed 7 houses around mine.  There's always earthquakes, and we've had 13 inches of snow in 12 hours.  And two nights ago a skunked sprayed the place - all those are hazards enough for me!
