[californiadisasters] [EDIS] Significant Weather Advisory For Yosemite N.P.




2:45 PM PDT...  AT 249 PM PDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A  STRONG THUNDERSTORM 9 MILES SOUTHEAST OF YOSEMITE VALLEY... MOVING WEST AT 10 MPH.  HAIL UP TO ONE-HALF INCH IN DIAMETER AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH ARE  EXPECTED WITH THIS STORM... ALONG WITH HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND FREQUENT DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. * LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... TENAYA LAKE... OSTRANDER LAKE AND SNOW FLAT... YOSEMITE GLACIER POINT AND YOSEMITE VALLEY...  OTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS THE SOUTHERN SIERRA NEVADA THROUGH SUNSET.
