Truck drug the trailer approx 1/2 mile. Numerous spot fires on the side
of the hill. Battalion 5 reporting high winds thru the Grapevine
corridor. Numerous explosions from the truck. Batt chief reporting
rapid rate of spread 10-15 acres in light grass and sage. Tankers on
order. CHP Bakersfield Log 114.
