Potrero (CA-RRU-07036) Fire started at 1655 hrs. approx. 2 miles NE of Banning in the Hathaway Canyon area near the intersection of Potrero Rd. and Foothill Rd. Initial report stated potential for large acreage. As of 1715 hrs. 6 air tankers, 5 engine teams and 4 type 1 crews requested. |

No new significant activity to report except one incident, the Travertine Fire (CA-DVP-12089). No 209 information is currently available, however both the Kern Valley Hot Shots and Type 2 helicopter 554 are committed to this incident located near Travertine Springs near the junction of Hwy 190 and Furnace Creek Road (on the east side of Death Valley National Park). |
