2001: Gusty southeast winds in the Valley knocked out power to about 4,000 customers in Merced due to downed trees falling on wires.
Peak gusts included 53 mph at Los Banos and 48 mph in Merced.
1985: A slow moving low grabbing moisture from Hawaii started on this day and ended on 11.26.
It dropped 2.57 inches in San Diego, 3.49 inches at Cuyamaca, 2.68 inches in Escondido, 2.62 inches in Julian, 2.49 inches in Pt. Loma and 2.48 inches in Santee.
Numerous areas were flooded and power outages were common.
Especially hard hit was Mission Valley.
1983: A squall line moved through Bakersfield.
1965: Heavy storms coming from tropical moisture occurred in the mountains and desert.
They started on 11.22 and ended on 11.25.
Storm totals: 20 inches at Mt. San Gorgonio, 16 inches at Mt. San Jacinto, 9.59 inches at Cuyamaca, six to nine inches at Banning-Cabezon, over four inches at Palm Springs, and less than one inch near the Salton Sea.
A one day total was over nine inches at Snow Creek. 15 died all over Southern California.
The entire region was hit hard with severe flooding, including road and bridge washouts and debris flows.
Santee was inundated.
Two drowned attempting to cross the Whitewater River. Five died in Tijuana.
One died in Rancho Cucamonga, another drowned in San Bernardino and three drowned in Lytle Creek flooding.
Record flood levels on Tahquitz Creek.
Spring Valley Creek floods in southeast San Diego.
The Sweetwater River floods parts of National City and Chula Vista. Record flood levels were recorded at Tahquitz Creek.
It was the largest flood on the Whitewater River since 1938.
1965: 11.0 inches of snow fell at Tahoe City.
1952: It was 30° in Santa Ana, the lowest November temperature on record (also occurred on 11.11.1950, 11.12.1950, and 11.30.1948).
1931: It was 28° in Santa Barbara, all-time low for the month.
