.A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE DOWN THE CALIFORNIA NEVADA
STATE LINE TONIGHT. AT THE SAME TIME STRONG SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE
WILL BUILD INTO THE GREAT BASIN. THESE TWO SYSTEMS WILL ALIGN IN A
WAY FAVORABLE FOR A VERY STRONG OFFSHORE WIND EVENT STARTING LATER
TONIGHT AND LASTING INTO FRIDAY AFTERNOON. STRONG AND DAMAGING
WINDS ARE EXPECTED FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS OF VENTURA AND
LOS ANGELES COUNTIES...AS WELL AS THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY COASTAL
