Local news had another acre fire in Kyburz too. Now a fire restriction with a hard freeze warning and currently the 4th driest December in record.
It's not the La Nina of last year.

Although some years do see the NorCal fire season fully conclude with zero fire activity, this year due to the current La Nina it appears parts of NorCal (forested parts no less) area still able and willing to burn on the first full day of Winter as evidenced here.
I wonder if I need to come up with a NorCal version of this blog posting:
