CA-TNF American Fire: 17,796 acres, 60% contained. Expected containment 9/1/2013. IMT 1 (Opliger). The south and west portions of the fire were tested with increased SW winds today. The northeast and southeast portions of the fire produced moderate fire behavior with active surface fire, tree torching and short crown runs. Firing operations conducted last night and this morning at the north end of the fire continue to back down towards the main body of the fire. Recreation opportunities remain open in French Meadows and surrounding recreational areas.

CA-SRF Corral Complex: 10,030 acres, 0% contained. Expected containment 10/1/2013. Unified Command (Joseph/Mendes). The spot fire on the north aspect of Tish Tang Point is well established, has grown to over 200 acres, and is threatening the Water Dog Lakes area. The fire crossed Horse Linto Creek to the south and is in alignment to make upslope runs. Thunderstorms went through the area today increasing fire intensity. A Community meeting will be held with the Hoopa Tribe at 1800 tonight.

CA-PNF Hough Complex: 531 acres, 40% contained. Expected containment 8/24/2013. IMT 2 (Nunez). Complex currently consists of 24 fires. Firefighters continue to sort out numerous reports and locations of fires. An IR flight is scheduled each night to aid in accurate mapping of the fires. New fires were reported today from lightning that occurred yesterday. The Johnson Fire and Ridge Fire continue to pose threats to the community of Taylorsville.

CA-SRF Butler Fire: 20,496 acres, 35% contained. Expected containment 9/15/2013. NIMO Quisenberry. Fire behavior was minimal from previous day's precipitation in the early portions of the operational period. Fire behavior increased slightly after thunderstorms passed to the east, but did not exceed moderate. Crews continue to hold and patrol the Salmon River Road, which remains closed to public use in the fire area.

CA-KNF Salmon River Complex: 14,377 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment 8/23/2013. IMT 2 (Wakoski). Firefighters continue to mop up and patrol firelines. Active backing was observed on the fire today in the Jackass Gulch area.

CA-SHU Burney LCA: 190 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment 8/23/2013. IMT 3 (Truax). Active thundercells through the fire area today. 4 new confirmed starts within the complex. Complex received measureable precipitation. All new fires contained. Mop up continues on new fires.

CA-BTU Swedes FIre: 2,462 acres, 100% contained.

CA-LNF Murken Fire: 75 acres, 90% contained. Expected containment 8/23/2013.

CA-TNF American Fire: 16,812 acres, 60% contained. Expected containment 9/1/2013. IMT 1 (Opliger) Fire growth continues on the southeastern portion of the fire. The incident is also supporting the Forest in new Initial Attack requests. Community meeting planned this evening in Foresthill.

CA-Corral Complex: 9,780 acres, 0% contained. Expected containment 10/1/2013. Unified Command (Joseph/Mendes) Fire was active above the thermal belt at the 4,000 foot elevation. The fire spotted approximately 1/2 mile to the west and became well established on the north aspect of Tish Tang Point. The thunderstorms in the area increased fire activity, but there were no significant outflow winds affecting the fire. Community meeting planned this evening.

CA-SRF Butler Fire: 19,538 acres, 35% contained. Expected containment 9/15/2013. NIMO (Quisenberry). Fire behavior was moderated by measureable precipitation from passing thunderstorms. Fire continues to spread towards indirect containment lines. Spot fire has been contained and mop up will continue today to secure. Salmon River Road remains closed to public use.

CA-PNF Hough Complex: 545 acres, 40% contained. Expected containment 8/24/2013. IMT 2 (Nunez). Fire activity moderated overnight. The fire area received over 100 lightning strikes during yesterday's operational shift. Several new starts were discovered last night, and more new starts are expected today. A community meeting was held last night in Taylorsville to inform residents on current conditions. Information from last night's IR flight is being evaluated today.

CA-KNF Salmon River Complex: 14,325 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment today. IMT 2 (Waskoski). Creeping and smoldering in heavy fuels. Mop up and patrol continues.

CA-BTU Swedes Fire: 2,462 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment today. CALFIRE IMT 1 (Zombro). Fire line suppression continues. Demobilization of excess resources continues.

CA-SHU Burney LCA: 190 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment today. IMT 3 (Truax). Mop and patrol continues. Area received numerous lightning strikes during yesterday's operational shift.

CA-LNF Murken Fire: 75 acres, 60% contained. Fire line construction and holding continues.
