CA-TNF American Fire: 20,232 acres, 66% contained. Expected containment 9/1/2013. IMT 1 (Opliger). The south, west and the northern most portions of the fire showed little activity overnight. The eastern portions of the fire produced moderate fire behavior with active surface fire, isolated single and group tree torching with short crown runs. Firefighters continue burning operations as necessary to prevent fire from crossing Little Grizzly Creek. The partial road closure on Mosquito Ridge Road remains in effect.

CA-SRF Corral Complex: 10,239 acres, 0% contained. Expected 10/1/2013. Unified Command (Joseph/Mendes). The spot fire on the north aspect of Tish Tang Point has now grown to 300 acres. There is an additional spot fire east of Tish Tang Point Point that is within 1/4 mile of the Hoopa Reservation boundary. A community meeting held Hoopa Tribe was well attended.

CA-PNF Hough Complex: 531 acres, 60% contained. Expected containment 8/24/2013. IMT 2 (Nunez). Fire activity was limited and good progress was made overnight on all fires. 19 fires have been contained or controlled. The Johnson fire is 150 acres; the Ridge/Height fire is 228 acres. Line construction continues on these fires; mop up and patrol continues on contained/controlled fires.

CA-SRF Butler Fire: 20,496 acres, 35% contained. Expected containment 9/15/2013. NIMO (Quesinberry). Fire behavior was minimal through the night as RH recovery was influenced by a deep marine layer push into the drainages. The spot fire south of Orleans Mountain was held to 12 acres. The fire continues to spread to indirect containment lines. Firefighters continue to prep and burn out as necessary to keep fire within indirect containment lines.

CA-KNF Salmon River Complex: 14,377 acres, 95% containment. Expected containment 8/23/2013. IMT 2 (Wakoski). Fire continues to back into Jackass Gulch. Continued consumption of unburned interior fuels throughout the fire area are being monitored.

CA-SHU Burney LCA: 196 acres, 95% contained. Expected containment 8/23/2013. IMT 3 (Truax). Mop up continues on 4 new fires in LCA from yestersday thunderstorm activity.

CA-LNF Murken Fire: 75 acres, 90% contained. Full containment expected today.
