	08/19	1900	Rim Fire, CA-STF-2857, Tuolumne County, FRA 800 acres, 0% contained No report due to protection of ICP   Shirley Fire CA-SQF-3229, Kern County, FRA 8 miles west of Kernville, CA 400 acres, 0% contained 350 residences, 25 Commercial properties, and 25 outbuildings/other threatened. Steep inaccessible terrain, thunderstorms, and lightning activity over the fire are hampering air support.  Multiple road closures are in effect.  The Alta Sierra Ski and resort areas are threatened, evacuations are in place.   Tenant Fire, CA-SQF-3227, Kern County FRA NEW Near Democrat 351 acres 0% contained No road access, moderate rate of spread with torching.   Spring Peak NV-HTF-30475, Mineral County, 12,000 acres 0% contained Fire is still very active.  Continued torching and small runs were experienced.  The same resources are still threatened.  A concern for firefighter safety due to historical abandoned mining operations in the fire area.
	08/19	1200	CA Interagency Team 3, (Pincha-Tulley) is being activated for the Shirley Fire on the Sequoia National Forest.  In briefing time and location to be determined
	08/19	0730	Shirley Fire CA-SQF-3229, Kern County, FRA 8 miles west of Kernville, CA 200 acres, 0% contained Values at risk, Jameson Ranch and Shirley Meadows Ski Resort Active fire behavior with spotting   Spring Peak NV-HTF-30475, Mineral County, 3,500 acres 0% contained Threatening the historical mining town of Aurora and the Aurora Cemetery.  Active Borealis and Esmeralda mining sites threatened.  Critical communications tower for NDOT/NHP and Mineral County Municipal agencies threatened.  Bi-State Sage Grouse habitat.  Cultural and historic resources threatened.   Bridges, CA-TCU-7509, Calaveras County 46 acres and 80% contained   Rim Fire, CA-STF-2857, Tuolumne County, FRA Cooper's Type 2  team transitioned at 1800 hours last night.  800 acres, 0% contained Fire continues to move 6up the south slope on the Clavey River drainage.  Fire continues to hold on Jawbone Ridge between the Tuolumne River and the Clavey River
