Signups for Driver's Education will be held today and Friday during lunch ONLY at Mr. Goodfellow's room, F110. The class will meet beginning next Tuesday from 2:40-3:45, Monday through Thursday, for the entire semester. You must be 15 as of August 20 in order to be eligible to sign up. Attendance is mandatory, so if you have activity or job conflicts you are not eligible. Again, signups are during lunch only today and the remainder of the week in F110.
NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS: Our first meeting of the year will be held on Monday, August 19th, during lunch. We will meet in Room E214, Mrs. Green's science classrooom. All members, Juniors and Seniors, should report to E214. We will discuss plans for the year, and go over requirements for earning and NHS letter. See you Monday at lunch!

UNMH Nursing Diversity Program introduces their Youth Empowerment Project - Health Careers after-school program! This is an exciting opportunity for teens in New Mexico. Students must be between the ages of 14 and 19 to apply. The program is scheduled on Tuesdays from 4 to 6 pm throughout the school year and students will learn about health topics such as medical terminology, anatomy, simulation along with many others! LOCKERS: If you need a locker stop by the activities office to purchase one. Lockers are $1.00. We are cutting locks today, so if you are in the wrong locker we will cut the lock and return your books to the bookroom.
Students must have their schedule and ID to check out textbooks.
Parking Passes will be sold in the activities office this week before school and during lunch. Please do not come down during class time.
JV Cheerleading tryouts: today and tomorrow after school in the Aux Gym. Open to 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. You must be academically eligible and have an APS physical. For more information see Coach Nord.
