2011: Strong offshore winds near Riverside were estimated at 65 mph.
A tree fell down on part of a building.

2008: Gusts of 82 mph in Baker tore part of the roof off an elementary school.  

2008: Felton recorded a low temperature of 21° F. 

2008: A winter storm brought 1.91" of precipitation to Reno.

1998: Heavy rain that started on 2.3 and ended on this day dropped 3" of rainfall and caused flooding, mud slides and power outages across the region.
Strong storm winds gusted to 60 mph at Newport Harbor and 51 mph at San Clemente.

1990: Heavy rain in the San Bernardino area resulted in one death from flooding.
10"-13" of snow fell in the mountains.

1989: A winter storm dropped a mix of rain and snow over the south end of the San Joaquin Valley, including 2" of snow at Edison.
Meanwhile gusty winds whipped the Owens Valley where gusts over 100 mph were recorded in Inyokern causing around $500,000 in damage at the airport, including hangers.

1988: A dying subtropical storm system dropped four inches of rain in the mountains of San Diego County.
More than 4" fell in Imperial Beach in 24 hours and 3.71" in 8 hrs.
1.5" fell in Chula Vista, 1.25" fell in San Diego and less than an 1" fell in other parts of San Diego County.
Standing water was five feet deep in some intersections.
Some homes were flooded with three to six feet of water. $0.5 million in damage occurred.
50 homes in Imperial Beach were flooded.
30 families were displaced by flooded homes.
Power outages and road closures also resulted.

1987: Five to six foot waves hit the coast.
Large surf inundated Seacoast Dr. in Imperial Beach.
A man and his son were swept off Sunset Cliffs and died.

1985: On 2.3 and on this day tornadoes hit the San Diego neighborhoods of Tierrasanta and Allied Gardens.
Eight mobile homes were damaged as well as other property.
Funnel clouds were observed at Brown Field.

1985: Up to 2" of snow fell in Palm Springs.

1979: 56" of snow fell in Big Bear Lake from 1/31 to this day, the greatest storm snowfall on record.

1976: A heavy rain period that began on this day ended on 2.10.
4.30" of rain fell in San Diego.
Strong storm winds hit 64 mph at Palmdale.

1958: A heavy rain storm drenched San Bernardino with nearly 4" on 2.3 and on this day.
Almost two inches fell in Redlands.
Warm Creek overflowed with ash blackened water near Tippencoe Av.
More debris washed into the Del Rosa area. A bad flood occurred in Fontana.

1955: Pismo Beach sets a monthly record low of 29° F.

1953: It was 79° in Idyllwild, the highest temperature on record for February.

1914: The morning low temperature at Bridgeport was -14° F.

1905: Heavy rains from this day to 2.6 caused the San Diego River to run for the first time in six years.
4.23" fell in San Diego in 43 hours.

1899: Cedarville had a morning low of -13° F.

1873: A snowstorm that started on 1/30 and ended on 2/3 piled up 44" at Grass Valley – Lake Arrowhead.
On this day 30" of snow fell.
