You must have your current VVHS ID to purchase a ticket. A dollar of each ticket will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a portion of the sales will go to the Neidigk Family

Love is in the air! Support our NEWSPAPER team by buying a special Valentine's Day shout out that will be featured in our school's paper! Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and we'lol take care of the rest by delivering to those who have a shout out for them. For 2$ at lunch starting today, January 25, through Wednesday, January 27th we will take orders for the shout outs and to appear in our paper February 12. So come stop by at lunch outside E116 and pick out something special this Valentine's Day.
LITERARY MAGAZINE: It is that time of year again students. The Creative Writing Class is producing the Literary Magazine, and need your submissions. Submit poems, short stories, and original artwork. Stop by H217 to pick up a submission form and guidelines. Submission deadline is February 8th.
COUNSELING
Seniors, Wednesday February 3rd is FAFSA Kick Off Night at 6:30 beginning in the PAC. This is your chance to complete the FAFSA and be entered to win a $500 dollar scholarship! Please bring your parents, tax information, and set up a F-S-A ID. See Mr. Garcia in E224 for more information.
The ASVAB will be administered on Tuesday, February 2nd at the beginning of 1st period. If you have signed up to take this test, please report to the lecture hall at the beginning of school Tuesday. Any questions see Major Campbell.
ATHLETICS
GIRLS TENNIS: Attention all girls interested in playing tennis this spring. There is still time to join the team! There are two more weeks of pre-season hitting sessions before tryouts begin on Feb. 8. These practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Sierra Vista. New players are welcome. See Coach Kappus or Coach Roybal for more information.
BOYS SOCCER: Attention all boys interested in playing soccer next fall, there will be a brief informational meeting today, at lunch in room A104. If you cannot make it, come see Coach Thiebaut in A121 for information you missed.

Why: The Lady Hawks will be wearing Navy Blue shoelaces and headbands in support of Child Abuse Awareness!
