These four days represent half of all days on record to hit 122° F (three days have reached the highest all-time temperature of 123° F).
2000: A thunderstorm moving though Las Vegas Bay on Lake Mead caused the arm of a dock to break off due to the strong winds and resulting waves.

1957: It was 121° F in Palm Springs, the highest temperature on record for June.

1907: First of four consecutive days in Bakersfield with a high temperature of 110° F or greater.
