CA-KNF Fort Complex. 670 total acres, 0% contained. Type-2 IMT (SoCal Team 1 - Walker) assumed command at 0600 this morning. Goff Fire - 200 acres, 0% contained; Hello Fire - 220 acres, 0% contained; Lick Fire - 200 acres, 0% contained; Fruit Fire - 50 acres, 0% contained.

CAL FIRE ICT 10 (Michael) was mobilized to the CA-MVU Chihuahua Complex and SoCal Team 3 (Wakoski) was mobilized to the CA-OVD Indian Fire.

CA-LNP Reading Fire. 9,063 acres, 5% contained. Nighttime fire behavior showed actively burning heavy timber and brush fuels with low rates of spread and isolated single tree torching. Late yesterday, a spot fire got established at the base of West Prospect Peak. The main park highway continues to be closed for six miles from Chaos Crags to Summit Lake. Several USFS roads and trails south of Highway 44 and east of Highway 89 in the vicinity of Old Station have been closed. Summit Lake, Lost Creek, Crags campgrounds remain closed. Portions of the Pacific Crest, Paradise Meadows, and Terrace Lakes trails remain closed.

CA-NOD Lost Fire. 61,262 acres, 40% contained. Evacuations continued through the night in the High Rock Canyon Recreation Area as well as back country areas. Road closures along the Recreation Area are still in effect. The threat to the power grid has been mitigated temporarily. Major efforts will be to work with crews/aircraft to secure spread in the wilderness.

CA-PNF Chips Fire. 20,040 acres, 16% contained. Active fire behavior until 2200 hrs,and then was moderated by increased humidity and decreased temperatures. Resources will continue to construct and improve containment line and burn out when favorable conditions exist. Crews will continue to mop up and hold existing containment line and provide perimeter protection for developed areas including Gansner Bar, Queen Lilly, and the Red Hill communication site. IA responsibilities remain in effect. The contingency group will continue to scout out and construct alternate containment line.
