Looks like a crinoid to me but black like it was in a fire. Tell me what you think of this......

My thought was that it was two crinoid heads intertwined..I am trying to get a picture of the ends...

Only thing I know right now is that it has "unusual weight"..I have asked for more information and pictures of the other side and maybe the ends...
 
looks looks a fossil to me, but I am not sure...
