[californiadisasters] Hello

Thank you Kim for inviting me to the group even though in the other group I may have come up with stupid comments you always politely set me straight.
I have learned so much from you and other members, which I think most people here in Washington State are not prepared.
I saw that in our last mini-quake.
Even in the ice storm that knocked out power for two weeks they did not comprehend how I was cooking steaks on a little burner.
I also thank my army training; it taught me to be ready for anything and to expect the unexpected.
