The Potato Fire (NV-HTF-701) Fire is now 525 acres with 20% percent contained.  This fire is BLM jurisdiction with the Unified ordering point being the Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center. A road closure being put in place to southbound access to Geiger Grade Rd. intersection to Bodie Mountain.  Ground resources continue to build and improve hand line construction while patrolling the fire. Priority is to strengthen the eastern flank of the fire perimeter. There is the potential for further unstable weather to pass through area today.

The Potato Fire (NV-HTF-701 is at approx 500 acres with additional aviation and ground resources being committed out of California and Nevada. A type 3 IMT from the Inyo National Forest will be assigned. Stanislaus IHC also committed.

Light IA  All fires picked up in extended Attack

07/23

0900

Indian Fire; 1822 acres and is 95% contained. Type 4 organization will take the incident over at 06:00 this morning. Jerry Martinez Incident Commander.
