Sure does. I just focused on California as that is the group topic. Normally when I am out of state, which is quite often on business, I carry a severely reduced set of essentials - personal medications - prescribed and OTC, small food items, liquids, small trash bag and zip lock bags, small towel, windbreaker, an AM/FM/SW radio or Marine radio with weather band, and an amateur radio hand held. This is because modern air travel restricts what can be carried on the plane - either by TSA rule or airline baggage fees. I also carry a set of tools as checked luggage as a part of my work. My opinions still stand as to what I would carry in the trunk of my car as the basics no matter where I am. 73, kevin kc6pob --- On Wed, 7/21/10, lnmolino@aol.com <lnmolino@aol.com> wrote:
