• The activities office will be open during lunch only this week. No parking passes will be sold this week.
• Any senior interested in being the Master of Ceremonies at the Homecoming Coronation please stop by the activities office during lunch this week and sign up.
• Any student interested in being the talent at the Homecoming Coronation please stop by the activities office during lunch this week and sign up.
• Any freshman interested in running for secretary, vice-president, president or senate for the class of 2015 stop by the activities office during lunch and pick up an application. All forms must be returned to the activities office during lunch on Friday. There will be a mandatory meeting of all candidates on Monday, September 12th during lunch in the activities office.
• MESA members interested in learning about How Wild Fire Works stop by Ms. Conell's from F103 and pick up a flyer for a seminar at UNM this Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
• The Black Student Union will be having their first BSU meeting on Thursday, Sept 8, 2011 during lunch in F-204. The meeting will start promptly at 11: 25 am so if you are interested in being an officer this year you need to be at the meeting to pick up the application packet.
• Homecoming will be here in 3 weeks which means Juniors and Seniors it is time to sign up for Powderpuff Football and cheerleading. Stop by the activities office and pick up a permission slip this week. If you are a fall athlete you will need to get approval from your coach. Permission slips can be turned back into the Activities Office. Our first general meeting will be Monday, September 12 in the Lecture Hall.

Athletics:       

The Golf Team at Volcano Vista will be holding tryouts on Thursday September 8th, at 3:15 PM. Before you tryout, you must contact Coach Cota. You can pick up an informational flyer with the contact information and tryout information from the 9th Grade/Athletics office. If you plan to tryout for the Golf Team, you must pick up the flyer in the 9th Grade/Athletics office!

The APS Metro Volleyball Tournament is being held at our school this week (today, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).
