A high wind warning issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 1300 hrs Saturday due to strong gusty northeast to east winds (25 to 35 mph with gusts to 60 mph) for San Bernardino and Riverside County Valleys-the Inland Empire- San Bernardino County Mountains-Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills-Area. Occasional local gusts in excess of 65 mph are possible in the most favored locations, including through and below the Cajon and banning passes in the inland empire and the Fremont and Modjeska canyons in the Santa Ana mountains. The strongest winds will be in and below passes and canyons and near coastal foothills. http://weather.gov/
