Episode 5 of the BBC's  Walking with Dinosaurs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walking_with_Dinosaurs) looked at Antarctica. This may sitll be available on the web, though I've not found it on 'iplayer'.

"Nova" once had an episode on "Polar Dinosaurs", which among other things dealt with issues like the continuum between homeothermy and heterothermy. Interested parties might want to look for it at pbs.org.
