[californiadisasters] South Ops News & Notes Update (5/17/13-7:15AM)

05/17	0715	Grand Fire CA-LPF- Fire in Unified Command Cal Fire IMT 6 (Kaslin) and USFS (D'Andres). 4,100 acres and 35% contained.  Increased acreage based on 0300 hrs. Infrared Flight.  The Frazier Mountain Communication facility continues to be a concern. Hungry Valley State Park, Frazier Mtn. (8N42), Gold Hill Road (8N01) still remain closed. Crews made excellent progress in all divisions last night, even as the fire continued to make moderate runs to the southwest.
