General Fire, CA-MVU-11025, Vegetation Fire,

36342 Highway 79, Vallecito,

Banner Grade Area, Riverside County.

985 acres, 85% contained.

Fire almost completely in Anza Borrego State Park Wilderness.

 

White Fire, CA-LPF-1473, Vegetation Fire,

Paradise Rd, 4 mi. E. of Hwy 154, Santa Barbara County.

2,025 acres, 65% contained.

Paradise Road has been evacuated. Ty 2 IMT (Nunez) ordered to take fire at 0600 5/28.

Portions of Hwy 154, all of Paradise Road closed. Local area evacuations in place. 

Fire remains active on the North and East flanks.  Fire lines were tested by high winds in the afternoon and held because of support from fixed and rotary wing aircraft.

1800 acres, 10% contained.

Paradise Road has been evacuated. California Central Coast IMT 2 (Nunez) assumed command of the Incident at 0600.
