There are isolated homes and other structures in the immediate vicinity... the real concern is if this thing makes a run up to the crest of the Santa Ynez Mountains tonight and threatens communities like Painted Cave up there and then worse yet if it gets driven by the Sundowner Winds into the Riviera of Santa Barbara and Montecito overnight into tomorrow morning. As for the TFR it is a matter of routine but was not caused by any actual need today as none of the local newsmedia have their own birds and the LA media market is thus far disinterested in this story given their B or C teams are about to go off shift and the morning A teams come back on tomorrow morning.
