Preliminary NWS report puts it as a EF4 but it is expected to be classified as an EF5, 200+ MPH winds; 1 mile wide at the base, two miles across for destruction path; 45-60 minutes on the ground.
And the numbers of the dead/missing will climb when they have daylight again and SAR teams arrive.
The Sacramento SAR Team is on standby, they have been there before in 1996 (
On the plus side, it’s possible that some are merely trapped in their shelters and can survive. They can survive for days.

Count is now over 100, at least 20 are children. Thousands of animals as well.
